If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant right by the lake, Heinzler am See is one of the best. With lovely outdoor seating under the trees, the menu has everything from local pork roast with homemade Spätzle or baked Bodensee Felchen fish with homemade tartare sauce.

2. Biohotel Mohren

Located in the hinterlands of Lake Constance, in a small village surrounded by pastures and farmland, Biohotel Mohren is inspired by its surroundings and has an organic outlook. Part of the very modern RIVA Hotel am Bodensee, Ophelia is an upscale restaurant where classics are reinterpreted by Head Chef Dirk Hoberg and his team. The tasting menu includes unique dishes such as pigeon with kohlrabi rice, and bison with green asparagus, eggplant, and potato.

7. San Martino Gourmet

This restaurant with one Michelin star is run by Chef Jochen Fecht and his partner Thomas Haist, who have turned a period building in the middle of Konstanz into a gastronomy haven. The sophisticated tasting menu has everything from coq au vin with local white asparagus to whole wild turbot baked in a special salt dough.
