With over 160 types to choose from, Tastings displays 40 different varieties of wine at a time through a high-tech wine dispenser. The Sky Lounge at the Sheraton Hotel gives off a warm wine cellar feel with wooden floors and red brick walls. In addition to being a cozy place, customers get the chance to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the glorious view of the Tsim Sha Tsui area. Surrounded by wine aficionados, customers choose your choice of wine through the wine dispenser. Here, customers are also given a choice between different measures so they can choose to have a a larger 150ml glass or just a taste with a 25ml tasting glass.

For something a little more exclusive, head over to California Vintage. They specialize in boutique wines from around 22 family owned wineries in California. Share a bottle with friends or sample a selection of wines from the enomatic wine dispensers. If food is what you are after, they offer a pairing food menu so you can enjoy a tasty selection of fries, burgers or even tacos with your delicious wines. This is a great place to go to for small, cozy dinner gatherings.

4. SPOON by Alain Ducasse

Situated in the lobby of the InterContinental Hotel, SPOON is a renowned French restaurant bound to give you a luxurious dining experience. With a selection of over 550 wines, SPOON has one of the most extensive wine collections in the city. Though it is mostly popular for its food, SPOON does have an open bar area. Around 70 per cent of the wines are French and the rest come from countries around the world, including but not limited to Morocco, Greece, Lebanon and Portugal.

5. The Riedel Room @ Q88

With a great view of the sea, The Riedel Room has some of the best high quality wines and champagne that you can find in Hong Kong. The room is dedicated to the exquisite wine glassmaker Riedel and so boasts a collection of over 100 different types of Riedel glasses. Head over for breakfast, lunch, dinner or tea because the food is incredible as well. The spacious lounge offers live music allowing customers to sit back, relax and enjoy their wine.
