Inspired by other famous underground scenes all over the world (think Warehouse Chicago and Paradise Garage from New York pastures) Tijuana’s WhereHouse club hosts a variety of electronic musical styles and DJs in its two-story space overlooking the Tijuana River in Tijuana’s Zona del Rio neighborhood. 3. Bar Americas
Cocktail Bar, Nightclub, Pub Grub
This is one of the best spots to enjoy the nightlife of Guadalajara. From the time it opened in 2002, this bar has been dedicated to expanding the local electronica scene and promoting Guadalajara’s electronic musicians. The club has played host to many epics fiestas that go on until the dawn. It’s great for listening to electronic music with old friends, or for meeting some new ones.

For a handful of years, nightlife in Monterrey virtually disappeared thanks to high levels of violence and insecurity. Fortunately, the city’s back and better than ever, and along with restaurants and brewpubs, several great new electronic music clubs have opened up. Taking advantage of a the former home of AURA, a Monterrey club known for its electronic dance music that closed down during the tough years, French Fried is a new electronic venue – with splashes of every other kind of musical genre as well – for Regios and visitors alike.

A massive rollicking party with an upscale vibe, Mamitas Beach Club is all you imagine a Playa del Carmen beach bar to be. Lounge chairs in the sand, umbrellas beside them, DJs spinning records, and white-shirted waiters bringing your cocktails – it’s all there and more at Mamitas. The place is generally packed every day, and the music is usually electronic.
