Trips to Lake Geneva revolve around the water – and not just because of the 224sqmi (580sqkm) lake. The area has a lively pool scene, too. Visitors return from their watersports, pleasure cruises, shoreside sunbathing sessions and hikes, and jump straight into their hotel’s swimming space. With this in mind, we’ve compiled a list of the best hotels with pools in Lake Geneva.

1. Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva, for lounging in the shade

This Lake Geneva hotel with a pool is located on the northeast edge of the lake. Some of the rooms come with balconies that look out over the water; you also get a lake view from the outdoor pool. It’s one of two pools at the hotel – the second is indoors – and is surrounded by parasols and loungers. There’s a restaurant right next to the water, too. Gino’s specializes in Chicago-style pizzas and Italian sandwiches with chicken, pesto and mozzarella.

2. The Cove of Lake Geneva, for sublime suites

Every room is a suite at this Lake Geneva hotel with an outdoor pool. Each one is decorated differently, but all come with kitchen areas and private balconies or patios. The outdoor swimming area is generously sized. There’s a lap pool for adults, a shallow pool with sloping entry and a pirate ship waterslide for little ones. There’s also a row of rental cabanas that come with extras including plump sofas and ice buckets.

3. Geneva National Resort, for hot-tub soaking

Golf isn’t the only way to relax when you stay here, though – there’s an indoor and and outdoor pool on site. The latter sidles up to a hot tub and is surrounded by loungers. There’s a spa here, too, plus six places to eat and drink including a steakhouse that serves American wagyu beef.
