Fez is one of the many places in Morocco where you can enjoy a yoga session in a blissful and peaceful atmosphere. The difference between Fez and other cities, like Casablanca, is that you can practice while taking in the surrounding views, since most sessions are done outdoors on terraces overlooking the Old Medina, far from the hectic vibes of the souks.

Aditi is the first yoga studio in Fez, founded by Begoña, a Spanish woman who started practicing meditation at the age of 20, but kept it as a hobby while she worked as a project manager in Germany. Many years later, Begoña got bored with the routine and left Germany to move to Fez and practice yoga. She started at the American Center of Fez, until she found the perfect studio for her fellow yogis. Now, she is located in the heart of the Medina, where she gives yoga classes every day of the week, in the most peaceful atmosphere you can find in the middle of the bustling souk. Begoña is the only internationally certified Hatha yoga teacher in Fez, which guarantees you a top and exclusive experience.

2. Palais Amani

Luxury

This hotel, located in the east region of the Old Medina, offers luxurious yoga classes and retreats. They have day passes, for around €95, in which you can attend group Hatha sessions, either in the morning or the evening, a workshop with Pranayama or anti-stress techniques, a traditional hammam at their spa, and the ultimate detox lunch. They also offer an all-inclusive pass – with accommodation, half board and Hatha yoga mornings and evenings, a variation of detox menus and additional workshops – starting at €175 for a shared double or triple room, and €250 for a single room. Finally, they have a week retreat offer, with accommodation, half board and morning and evening Hatha yoga lessons. Prices are at €990 for a double or triple shared room, and €1490 for a single room.

3. Café Clock

Café Clock is a famous café in Fez, known for its relaxed atmosphere, traditional and occidental food, live music and free WiFi. They also offer occasional yoga classes atop their large terrace. Just keep in mind that you must call in advance to reserve a spot in a yoga class.
