For photographers, or those of you who love a good view, book a trip to the top of Le Touquet Lighthouse. Children will love climbing the spiral staircase, and once you reach the top, you will be able to see for miles and miles on a clear day. The views are truly spectacular. This inland lighthouse is fascinating and features a little museum explaining its history. With 274 steps, this lighthouse is quite the climb, but well worth it.

Marche Couvert translates to the “covered market,” and after giving it a visit you will be thoroughly satisfied, as all your bargain needs will be met here. The market features permanent stalls for their fresh fish, cheese, and vegetables, but they also have temporary stalls selling books, clothes, and furniture, so you will always find something new and exciting. This market is also very popular with the locals, so if you like to mingle this is the place to be.
