Seattle is a real gem and the biggest city in the state of Washington. The scenery surrounding the city is simply breathtaking – beautiful beaches, lush green forests and towering mountains – and there’s a lot to see and do in Seattle, so book a few nights at one of these great hotels in Seattle.

The Kimpton Palladian is an artsy, modern hotel and a Seattle favorite. Just three minutes from Pike Place Market and under half a mile from the Space Needle, it’s right in the heart of the city. Choose a chic suite with its own living room, views of the Puget Sound and in-room yoga mats. A visit to the Shaker + Spear seafood restaurant is a must, along with a whiskey on the rocks in the speakeasy lounge, the Pennyroyal.

Just outside of West Seattle, close to the airport, is the award-winning Cedarbrook Lodge. Tucked away in its own lush grounds, it’s easy to forget this luxury hotel is under 2mi (3km) from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The rooms are modern, and you’ll have access to the popular farm-to-table Copperleaf restaurant, serving locally sourced cuisine; there’s also a fitness center and an airport shuttle service.

3. The Grove, West Seattle Inn

This inn is the only full-service lodging establishment in all of West Seattle, and its comfortable, convenient atmosphere certainly makes it one of the best this side of the river. The Grove was originally opened in 1962 to help accommodate all of the visitors flocking to see the World’s Fair, which Seattle was hosting that year; it has been renovated recently to meet the needs of a more modern consumer base. Enjoy the clean, cozy rooms adorned with pictures of local spots, or relax outside on the deck, which features a fire pit.

4. The Gatewood Bed and Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast

Reserve a room here for a quiet experience at a gorgeous, elegant bed and breakfast. The Gatewood Bed and Breakfast is a strikingly beautiful home surrounded by lush greenery, with sleek, elegant decor and century-old woodwork on the inside. Patrons enjoy the comfort of spacious rooms equipped with luxurious bedding and towels, while the walls of the bedrooms and common areas showcase the talents of local artists. In order to preserve the quiet and calming atmosphere, the Gatewood caters only to adults and children over the age of eight.
