This August, Apple co-founder and inventor of the personal computer Steve Wozniak will visit five cities across Australia including Melbourne. Along with Steve Jobs, Woz steered the world into the digital age through innovation, technical prowess and by valuing old-fashioned work ethic over profit saying ‘our first computers were not born out of greed or ego, but in the revolutionary spirit of helping common people rise above the most powerful institutions.’ Woz is a distinguished philanthropist helping to found the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a motivational speaker and an advocate for STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Hosted by Think Inc., the evening will entertain and educate those with curious minds and is open to both Android and iPhone users. Meet and greet tickets are also available.
